Pet Boarding

Our goal when you board your pet here at Larchmont Animal Hospital is to make your pet feel like a part of our family and to provide them with a safe, comfortable and fun place to stay when you’re not there.

We are equipped with spacious climate controlled kennels, a covered outdoor run area, and a large play area for our canine guests. We provide all of our guests with bedding, toys, and treats and feed a sensitive stomach veterinary diet. If you prefer to bring your own food, we will feed it to your pet at no cost.

Our technicians and assistants closely monitor all boarders daily and administer any appropriate medications. Any dogs staying three nights or more will be given a complementary bath prior to pick up.

We understand that you may have concerns about leaving your pet – please ask us for a tour of our boarding facilities and feel free to call and check on your pet during your stay.

A boarding release form for all of our kennel guests must be filled out annually, and updated in the case of any major changes in care. Please review this form for a more detailed description of our boarding policies. If you have not filled out a form for this year, please download and bring the completed form with you at check-in.

Due to space limitations, reservations are required for all pet boarding stays. We tend to fill up quickly on weekends during the summertime and during the last two weeks in August, as well as during major holidays and school vacations.

Pet boarding hours are the same as our hospital hours, however, we kindly request that all drop offs and pick ups occur at least ½ hour prior to closing.

At Larchmont Animal Hospital, we only board animals that are our patients. This allows us to ensure the health and safety of all of our guests and staff.
